On Nov. 2, 2025, the 13th National Hospital Management Tool Congress successfully concluded in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. Guided by the Medical Management Service Guidance Center of the National Health Commission (NHC), hosted by the Institute for Hospital Management of Tsinghua University, and organized by the Zhejiang Hospital Association, the congress is one of the most authoritative and influential academic events in the field of hospital management in China. It aims to promote the application of advanced management tools and practices, thereby empowering the high-quality development of public hospitals.

A total of 188 outstanding projects from 31 provinces and municipalities were shortlisted for the national finals in the Tertiary Hospital Nursing Category. Having all passed rigorous provincial-level selection processes, the competing projects demonstrated significant representativeness and high value for widespread clinical promotion.

Following a First Prize victory at the provincial level, the quality improvement project submitted by our hospital’s Emergency Department advanced to the national finals with outstanding scores. Competing against top-tier teams from across the country, our project ultimately won the National Second Prize. The expert judging panel unanimously recognized the project for its rigorous logical framework, solid data support, and remarkable achievements in continuous quality improvement.

Behind this prestigious honor lies the strategic guidance and unwavering support of the hospital leadership, the deep integration of the Nursing Department’s quality culture—characterized by "precision, professionalism, and warmth"—and the relentless refinement and seamless collaboration of our emergency care team.

During the intensive preparation period, leaders from the Nursing Department, alongside Emergency Department directors and head nurses, conducted multiple review sessions. They meticulously polished the presentation page by page and refined the speech sentence by sentence, perfecting everything from the logical structure to the finest delivery details. Furthermore, seamless multi-departmental collaboration enabled comprehensive "panoramic" improvements in data tracking and outcome visualization, ensuring the final presentation was highly professional, rigorous, and impactful.

This award marks a new milestone in our hospital's emergency quality management and adds a vibrant stroke to an already fruitful 2025. Over the past year, the Emergency Departments across both of our campuses have achieved remarkable success in various professional arenas, securing over 20 awards at the national, provincial, and municipal levels. These accolades span multiple dimensions, including quality management, medical science popularization and innovation, the application of multi-dimensional management tools, and the exchange of best clinical practices. Together, they paint a comprehensive picture of high-level healthcare, fully demonstrating the department’s robust momentum and vibrant potential for sustainable growth.

Looking ahead, the Emergency Department will continue to uphold the core philosophy of "Patient First, Quality Foremost, and Winning through Innovation." Guided by the hospital’s overarching strategy of "Building the Hospital on Quality and Strengthening it through Innovation," and inspired by the Nursing Department’s culture of excellence, we will work hand in hand with all colleagues across the hospital. By continuously deepening the application of modern management tools and consolidating the foundations of medical quality and safety, we are committed to making even greater contributions to safeguarding patient health and driving the high-quality development of our hospital.
